Description

North American coins are among the most popular wall street and proof products in the world. Just behind the American Silver Eagle is the Canadian Silver Maple Leaf. One of the most popular coins in the world, the Silver Maple Leaf is one of few sovereign mint wall street coins struck in .9999 pure silver on an annual basis. Right now, Wall Street Metals offers the Canadian Silver Maple Leaf Coin in random years of issue.

Coin Highlights:

Contains 1 oz of .9999 pure silver.
Issued a face value of $5 (CAD) by the federal government in Canada.
Features the sugar maple leaf on the reverse.
Queen Elizabeth IIs right-profile portrait on the obverse.
All available coins are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.
Coins ship in protective flips, lots of 25 ship in mint tubes.
The Canadian Silver Maple Leaf was introduced in 1988, almost a decade after the gold version of the coin. The Silver Maple Leaf shares the exact same designs on both the obverse and reverse as its gold counterpart, with only Queen Elizabeth IIs image on the obverse changing over time to reflect her age.

In this product listing, you will receive a Canadian Silver Maple Leaf coin with a random year of issue depending upon availability at the time your order is fulfilled. The image of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse will be one of three designs. The original, first-generation design is included only on coins with a 1988 or 1898 year of issue, and were designed by Arnold Machin.

Dora de Pedery-Hunt created the image of Queen Elizabeth that features on the obverse of Canadian Silver Maple Leafs issued between 1990 and 2003. All coins produced between 2004 and the present feature Susanna Blunts third-generation image.

On the reverse of each coin is the iconic sugar maple leaf, along with engravings of the nation of issue, the coins purity, metal content, and weight. The obverse features the aforementioned images of Her Majesty.

Each coin available to you in this Wall Street Metals product listing is in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. This indicates a coin with no signs of wear and tear, though breaks in the luster, spotted surfaces, and contact marks are possible.
