Description
The 2016 Gold British 0.25-oz Lunar Monkey coin, a part of the Royal Mint’s Lunar Series, is said to have been produced influenced by the success of the Perth Mint’s lunar series. The Gold British Lunar Monkey 1/4 oz 2016 Coins are now available online at Wall Street Metals, a trusted site for buying gold bullion.
The coin succeeds the year of the Sheep in 2015 and year of the Horse in 2014, the first coins in the Lunar series.

The crowned old bust of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, wearing the Royal Diamond Diadem crown from her Coronation (effigy known as the “Fifth Portrait”) and the Coronation Necklace, on the obverse is designed by British engraver Jody Clark.
The reverse is designed by Wuon-Gean Ho, based on The Year of the Monkey in the Chinese Zodiac Calendar, where it is the 9th animal in the lunar cycle.
